I went into the same area I was in the day before but I got there on time. As the woods start waking up I start to hear several gobbles. I start heading to the closest one. As I set up on an old logging road he is steady gobbling at anything that makes a noise. Some hens get fired up to my left so I chime in and the argument begins. Gobbler is out front and left hand and the hens out front to my right. I'm thinking I'm probably srcewed on this deal but I'm already committed. He gets quiet for a few minutes but the hens are really cutting up. I figured that he was probably headed to them. But I just kept calling back and forth will the hens. When all the sudden I see some movement straight in front of me. As I watch these hen have picked up and pitched down right in front of me at about 40 yds. Just as soon as the boss hen hits the ground she cuts down real hard. See is looking for me and she is pissed! As they move in toward me I see more movement out front and sure enough it is the gobbler weaving his way thru a small pine thicket. He's about 50 yds and closing. The hens are at about 25 yds now and have yet to shut up. There doing all the work for me. Once he gets to about 30 yds I put the Nitros back to work and he just crumbled! This has been my best season ever! Thanks for reading.

Yikes, back-to-back, hard to beat that start to your season and with 2 great birds. Another perfect fan.
