This is the first 12 Guage shell I've shot in several years. Prolly the best pattern I've ever seen that wasn't tss. Pics on these paper turkey targets sometimes don't do justice, I hope this one does. Had a box of 10 for at least 5yrs and this is the first one I've shot. Thought about shooting something with my old 12ga so I'd see how it shot. Glad I did. There's a lot of options out there but nitro's shouldn't be forgotten they are devastating

Best pattern for a 3" shell I should say.

Nitro's are awsome. Been killing turkeys with them for years.

Excellent pattern! I had used Nitros for years as well but after trying LB 6s and getting 269 in a 10 at 40 i made the switch

I have been a huge fan of Nitro's as well as the Rhino .660 choke myself over the last 10 years. The problem I have is with their crimps and/or sealing issues. Seems that the buffer leaks out inside your vest pockets? For the money they charge for their shells, I wasn't happy with the leakage issues. So I switched to Winchester Longbeards as well, along with the Patternmaster code black choke.

Please correct me Ifn I'm wrong but the Nitro's are loaded with Hevi-shot weighing 12g/cc as opposed to lead (LongBeards) are only 11g/cc so the Nitro's hit harder than do the Longbeards????? I only ask because just about any and all the patterns I've ever seen from Nitro are Waaaaaaaaaaaay above average.....however, for the price difference is a fellar really gaining that much of an advantage by shootin' Nitros?????

.    I would personally prefer to be throwing a blend of 4x5x7hevishot than straight lead 6s to get those numbers and in this pattern there are a bunch of very large holes that are obviously not #7. I can't argue with what longbeards are doing they are great for the world of turkey hunting I just haven't shot them yet. I have not and will not cause a stir on here but I can say this for myself and most on here chasing high #s. I ain't spending the money for my effective range to be 40yards. I have hunted with a 20ga for prolly the last 5 or 6years and actually never hunted with this gun this year. I am a bow hunter at heart and love getting close to whatever it is I am chasing but turkeys in my opinion were meant to be shot in the head with a shotgun. I shoot when I know he ain't coming any closer. Just a lot easier on the handful of opertunities you get a year if everything, especially effective range, is in your favor.
