my fever for turkey hunting this year.  I don't know if it is the coming of spring, talking about hunting on OldGobber, or kids talking to me at work about hunting.  I have been getting up between 3 and 4 every morning without an alarm and that is on days I can't hunt.  I hope tomorrow I can get the kid I am taking a bird.

I hear you loud and clear.  Once the threads start rolling on here of people getting birds, that makes it even harder.  I always have a long wait up here in NY, but we're just getting rolling as a lot of people are winding down once May 1st arrives.

It looks like this weekend might be good enough to finally shoot.  It's supposed to be in the upper 50's.
