Well this is open for interpretation but I am going to say my theory was correct concerning that lot of long beards. Without going though a choke to shatter the resin it stays in a clump. Just so happens I have a cylinder bore to shoot them out of. I have a bunch of turkey guns and the guns running the tighter constrictions shot much more even patterns and very few double and triple strikes like those first patterns from my 835 with the .676" choke. I have 9 of those shells left and all are going to run in my 835 with the scope.The long beards after these including the 3" shells threw even patterns without the drama.
