I just wanted to take a minute to show off these long boxes from Dan Whittenburg. I received the cedar over Alaskan Sitka Spruce just before last spring season, and although it has a different sound than most paddle calls, the turkeys loved it, and I called several gobblers to the gun with it. Now fast forward to just a few days ago, and I received my cedar over butternut paddle from Dan, and wow......it sounds amazing! It has a deeper tone, when compared to the spruce, but what a great compliment to that other box. Just wanted to show some appreciation for the boxes, and they are absolutely gorgeous, he even hand sews the holders that they come with. Highly recommended.
