JC Calls ???

Probably 20 years ago a guy I knew then picked up a really slick sounding glued boxcall at a show.  It was a walnut base & sides with a hickory paddle. IIRC, it had "JC Calls" on the paddle.  I don't think I've ever run across another........

Anyone know this maker ??
