West Augusta

The local gobblers have made the woods behind my house their winter home.
This morning 22 were in my backyard at one time.  It's hard to get all of them in one picture but there are a bunch of them.  Many had some impressive hooks.  A few 2 year olds and one poor jake that is continually getting chased.  He's gonna be a tough one if he survives.  Might just start calling him a "Jake named Sue"  :TooFunny:

I know they will be scattered all over the county come March but I sure do enjoy watching them now.
Funny, last spring I didn't hear a gobble here.  Only saw 3 hens and only one of them had poults.  Hope one or two of these boys sticks around.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.
