Been checking cabelas for a few months now and still no lounger on their site that I can find other than the predator one. Have they stopped making these?

I'm not sure. Maybe they will have them available right before turkey season. Look in the Midwest Turkey Call Supply magazine page 15 they have 3 different ones to chose from that look identical to the Cabelas Gobbler lounger. If you don't have the magazine check out the website www.midwestturkeycall.com

Check in the new "Midwest" catalog, they carry them.

Gobbler Lounger and Predator Lounger are the same thing, only change might be camo pattern... one side of box calls it a predator other says gobbler...

Keep an eye out at Walmart for the Turky Thugs(?) chairs. Basically the same thing as the Cabela's chair, but usually about half the price. I have both and there is very little difference in them. I picked up a couple on clearance at Walmart 2 years ago for $14 each.

Alps/Browning version all the way. They make one for larger frames and it is the shiznet for a big man, I kid you not.

I just received my Predator Lounger in the mail yesterday.  It is the same chair as the old Gobbler Lounger.  I was going back and forth between it and the Browning chair.  Ending up going with the Predator Lounger because it's a little wider and deeper (didn't know that Browning made a larger version) and because I happened to be ordering some other stuff from Cabela's.  Downside of the Cabela's chair is that it's a couple pounds heavier than the Browning chair.  I "tested" the PL in the living room last night and loved the room and comfort.  Really can't go wrong with either.  I had a chance to use a buddy's Browning chair on a Nebraska hunt this past Spring and really liked it as well.

The primos wingman chair is similar as well. It's more expensive though. All three are great chairs.

Walmart normally puts this chair on sale near spring time.

I bought two a few yrs ago for $15 a piece and they work well.  I also have the gobbler lounger that I've had for about 6 yrs.   very comfortable just hate carrying it.  I will be leaving it behind this yr I just have to much to carry with my tripod, camera, shot gun and sometimes decoys.   I will miss it for sure!!  God bless

Here is my review of what I use.
May be a little larger than some, but man is it SOLID.
Should last a lifetime.....give or take a few years.....LOL
I don't have a problem carrying it on on side and gun on the other.
So comfy it's hard to stay awake.

I got one in Kentucky last year at Walmart on clearance for $9.00.
