I remember reading that the 835 has the same barrel diameter as a 10ga and that is one of the reasons it patterns so well. If this is true could the same be accomplished in a single shot 12ga shooting 20 ga with a chamber adapter?

I would think there is too great a difference in barrel diameter to make that feasible between 12 to 20.
