A CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

TIS THE SEASON, AND WE KNOW THE REASON WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, I WAS THINKING ABOUT IF I WERE GOD....(WHICH WOULD BE A BIG MISTAKE) AND I GRANTED ONE CHRISTMAS WISH TO SOMEONE WHAT WOULD THEY ASK FOR? SO, YOU ARE THAT "SOMEONE" WHAT WOULD YOU ASK FOR? ME? I WOULD ASK FOR A FUTURE THAT OUR GRANDCHILDREN COULD GROW UP IN A PROSPER WITHOUT THE FEAR OF OPPRESSION....

Mine would be similar.  I would ask for a bright, prosperous and happy future for my kids and grandkids and the USA.

My hope is along those same lines Pappy.....even though the Lord tells me not to worry I find my self there when I think about what my 3 little boys will face in years to come.   I'm thankful God is in control and all things work for the good of those who love him and I believe that with all my heart!  I remind myself of that when I allow fear and worry to creep in.    God bless Pappy praying your feeling much better and God continues to lay his healing hand on you!

I posted this on Facebook this week.

"I was sitting in a tree stand this morning watching it snow. Saw a couple of Blue Jays. Two squirrels were playing tag up and down the tree next to me. Pheasants were feeding. I was deep in thought about what a beautiful Earth God has given us,  but how some idiot with a bomb could destroy life as we know it. I said a silent prayer. Let there be peace on Earth."

My wife and I are getting ready to go through the adoption process and I find myself praying that the Lord helps me be the father I never had and the husband I didn't see. I hope I can raise my son or daughter to be a loving, honest, respectful, God fearing individual and teach it the things I had to teach myself. Merry Christmas and God bless you all.
