Soundboard placement

When you size the internal width of a pot call do you fit the soundboard tight or do you leave an air gap between the soundboard and sides? If you leave a gap, how much?

YOU LEAVE A GAP , U JUST HAVE TOO EXPERIMENT TO THE SOUND YOU WANT.

leaving the gap is important, I leave the same as the thickness of the soundboard. I found it to be the best, the closer the gap the lower the volume too.
