I'll tell you the hospitality by Doug and his mom was the finest I've ever come across. She had Dinner for us when we came in after hunting, and living by herself she loves hunting season when people are staying over. Doug had done a lot of scouting prior to me getting there to make sure I got my first Osceola. He did an excellent job, because we had action no matter where we went, especially in the mornings. Afternoons were tougher. What made it perfect was Doug getting his first Osceola this year after trying to get birds for others. After I hunted mornings getting a bird, he hunted the afternoons. When I finished Saturday morning, that left him Sunday morning to get a Tom, which he did. He's put down 2 big Rios this year, and a big Osceola, Merriams in Nebraska next, and then Easterns in Illinois is the plan. Hope he gets another slam. That's the great thing about these Boards, when you meet people that become friends for life.
