What is the difference between Remington's light contour barrel and standard barrel? Is it just a weight reduction? And does one have a performance advantage over the other?
Thanks for any info.

They are thinner and lighter and all of them that I've seen and owned, have a great finish inside and out. They may be quicker for upland birds or clays sports. They are excellent barrels.

Thanks,
Clark

*08.15.2016 corrected spelling of "inner" to "thinner".
