Once again, the lull of summer drags in for us die hard turkey hunters.  Before i get too caught up in the summer dumps, i wanted to express how much i enjoyed, once again sharing this season with you all.  I have made some great friends through this team, and entire contest the last 2 years that i have been involved.  Several of you i have never met, except through this forum, and phone calls/text messages, and i can still say that it would be an honor to hunt with any of you.  Hopefully, if i ever have a good hatch again, i will make that happen.  We may not have won the contest, but i doubt any other team killed as many as we did! ...And we were able to keep Travis from killing another jake!
It was a pleasure to share the season with the new team members, as well...Especially, Barry.  Alot of people in a wheelchair throw in the towel to leisurly things that were once loved, because of accessibility.  Mr. Arrington is truly an inspiration to me...and a damn killa at that.   I have never met him personally, but his attitude, and outlook on things is something alot of folks need to mimic.  I hope one day our paths will cross.

So, to Travis, Ronnie, Chris, Jerad, Dusty, Ricky, Stephan, Joe, Kyle, Chad, Barry, 3chunter, headbanger, Gobblez, & SC_WILDMAN, it was a pleasure to be associated with such a fine group of men with a common passion...  Lord willing, we can do it again next season

I totally agree!  I had a great time getting to be a part of Shock Gobble & Awe again this season!!  I might have given Travis a little bit of a hard time about his "SUPER jake" last year, and it almost came back to bite me with my smallest longbeard ever this spring!  

It has been a pleasure getting to chat with all my old buddies and getting to know some of the new guys on the team!!

It's been alot of fun. One reason I didn't go to the team I was on last year was to meet new people and experience the spring turkey season with some of you that I have never met. I just got the luck of the draw to get on this team and it was a joy to be here. I have met a few and would share my turkey camp with any of you. Now to get to work thru the summer raising turkey poults, mounting decoys and making turkey calls. Oh BTW my daughter just got engaged and will be getting married in Nov. Now I have to loose some weight so i don't look like a retard when I walk her down the aisle. If I can do anything for any of you just let me know.

Quinn pretty much summed it up.  I have never met any of you but still consider you all friends.  I enjoyed it, although my early birds were swallowed up by the upgrades as the year progressed.  Thanks for letting a La boy that kills small birds on the team.

I hope to be part of the team again next year... there are a lot of changes on the homefront.  I find out, next week whether I will be having a Princess or new redneck mini-me.

Thanks guys for having me on the team. Although i didn't contribute to the body count, you guys still made me feel like part of the team. I have been in the company of some sho nuff turkey killers on this team this year, and some pretty good turkey call makers as well. THanks again guys for letting me live vicariously thru you.( love when i can work a high falutin word into what i'm typing )
TRKYHTR, I am in the same boat. My son is getting married in October and i have already sent in my order to Omar the tent maker for a new suit.

I had a blast as well guys, proud to have each and everyone of you as a teammate. As usual, our team put the smack down on a whole bunch of gobblas.
