PM sent wvmntnhick.  Didn't wanna hijack this thread.  I highly recommend this field grade combo from the SS boys though.  I'm glad Al finally got some more kwila wood to make this combo!

I know what you're saying man. I've got a field grade and love it. It's my favorite box at the moment. Dad just really likes the looks of the checkered boxes and no more than he hunts or takes care of turkey calls, I'm not putting the money into one of their finer boxes for him or taking the chance that my youngest nephew might get hold of it and destroy it. Dad's been known to leave a call in the woods on more than one occasion. He'llgo back and get it but it might take a day or two.

Not sure I mentioned it or not but the box I got from Al and Josh is purpleheart over mohagany I believe. In fact, all 4 of the custom boxes I've got at this point have purpleheart lids but the SS is definitely my favorite at the moment.
