my buddy has an issue with his 835 when he ejects the first shell he has to really slam the pump down to get the next shell to come out of the magazine tube and into the receiver , has anyone else had this problem or know what might be the problem?

Had the same problem, the chamber area needs to be cleaned where the brass seats, it's sticking. Mine would do this when shooting Nitro's. I cleaned mine with a 20 ga. brush wrapped with scotch brite and solvent. Just don't go in the chamber very far.
The Gobblers I've had the pleasure calling in have never been the same.

Replace your factory magazine spring & follower with a Wolff Extra Power magazine spring and aluminum follower from Northwoods. You can find them on ebay for about 30 bucks as a package. Problem solved.  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Call Mossberg and tell them the issue. These guns have 10yr warranty. THey replaced all my internals at no cost. Excellent customer service.
