Hey guys I had a thought last night while dreaming of that bird gobbling this morning (season starts tomorrow so I went today to make sure he was still there...he was :P)...anyhow...for those of you with 20 gauges and 20+ different chokes lying around...especially those that have done extensive testing...could we maybe start a sticky that has something like...

Mossberg 500 22" barrel w/ Pure Gold .570
 Hevi13 -#7
   Insert user name here - 300 x 10" @ 40
   Insert user name here - 265 x 10" @ 40

 TSS - #9
   Insert user name here - 410 x 10" @ 40

Mossberg 500 22" barrel w IC .555
 Hevi13 - #7
   Insert user name here - 290 x 10" @ 40

format being user name - pellet count - circle diameter - yards...this would give us a very good reference to see what people have tried...what worked, what didn't work, what still needs to be tried, ect...I know every gun is different and circumstances will affect the results somewhat but it gives a good database of knowledge to pull from and keeps new folks from having to buy 4 or 5 $70 chokes hoping it works for them...they will at least have some data backing up that it does work somewhere...

We could even make it an open Google document that way folks could enter their own data so it does not fall on one person to do all the data entry...the Google docs are just a link that we could set semi-private access to by the use of a link in the sticky thread...

Just a thought...like I said...

Also if anyone that has a bunch of chokes collecting dust and would not mind sometime after the season I would like to borrow a few to test in this pretty little Mossberg 500 Super Bantam...I'll give'em back...PM me and I'll send you my phone number and we can talk about it if anyone is interested...

If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!
