I have used Woodhaven calls and can't say that they are bad. I think many of their mouth calls are a little to raspy for my taste but they seem to kill turkeys just fine. I say if you want to buy it then buy it. I have just always cautioned people not to drop a ton of money on a call expecting it to work be twice as effective as a middle of the road call.

Killed more birds with a Woodhaven cherry slate, than any other
Call I own. And I've got a lot of custom calls.
The next closest call that comes anywhere close to the number
Of birds I've killed with is a mouth call.  So yea they are expensive
But I'm not complaining.

Cherry Classic is a good call that sounds good with just about any striker. I did not pay $90 for mine, I got it for half that in the classified on here. I love the cherry classic. I also love the Mike's striker for clucking and purring.

I used one for several years and bow shot many turkeys with their call. I bought a real custom made call from a call maker here on OG and IMO their call sounds terrible so I sold that thing quick. They are a good call but they are massed produced and I doubt they throw many away if they don't sound right.
