When you take Pics of your kills, they want pics of the full length of the beard from the chest to the longest hair end  on your measuring tapes, it's nice if they can read it but if not take another pic of the final length. The same with the bird on the scale, try to get as much of the bird showing as possible and still be able to read the scale. They ask for a pic of you and your bird, but if your hunting by yourself I'm not sure how that can be done, the captains will have to deal with that? There has been some talk about the contest pics of others and I'm just making sure everybody knows what needs to be taken, if your unsure ask or double check the rules. I don't want anybodies bird gettin bumped because of pics, we work to hard to get them. It's up to the captains to make sure of all the pics and scores are taken care of and to deal with any problems that occur. You can bet your butts that we'll do everything possible to keep your birds in the 10 bird scores. So Good Luck boys and keep hammering um.

I know my pictures leave something to be desired, my cheapo digital camera finally bit the dust I guess and I was stuck using the camera on my phone, I still have the bird whole in the freezer if I need to get better beard pictures though

Taking Kill Pictures...

1. You and the Bird
2. Weight, Scale with as much of the bird as you can get and still read the scale.
3. Beard, Full length form the Chest to the End, maybe 2 pics to show the end measurement?
4. Spurs, measure from the leg around the outside of the curve, that give you the most length.
5. Score sheet Readable

***Everything Must be Attached to the Bird, DO NOT clean your bird and then measure it. Don't cut the legs and beard off and then measure it, or that bird can't be used for the team score.***
