That gun should serve you well for all the purposes you've noted. I'd recommend the 26" barrel length.
I have many readers who shoot Beretta shotguns including the Outlander. I've not heard any complaints from them.
I've shot many models of Berettas over the years. For whatever reason, they've just not fit me as well as some other brands but they are certainly finely made guns.
It's always important to remember to make sure the choke is firmly seated in the counterbore of Beretta shotguns. You do not want to shoot any Beretta or Benelli with a choke that is even slightly loose. Those choke must be thin and since they are threaded at or near the muzzle, blow-by is possible and that can cause bad things to happen.
If that gun feels good to you, it should work well as an all purpose and occasional turkey shotgun.
