Awesome hunt! I'm in KY too, just a few miles NE of Louisville. The boy I take hunting got what I'm calling a jake and a half on Saturday, haha, but overall it was a pretty uneventful weekend here. I went with another friend and his boy on Sunday, and we only saw a handful of hens. Never heard a gobble Saturday, and only heard two gobbles from the same bird way off first thing Sunday morning. I'm still seeing birds grouped up, so I'm guessing they're just not in full swing here yet. Could be good news for the opener, but I wish the kids could have had a little more action this weekend.
