Franchi affinity 12 ga speed bead mount

I saw where you might could use a Benelli m2 mount on a 20 ga just wondering if it will work on a 12 ga and has anyone tried it yet? Thanks

It should work fine. I'm using a cut down M2 on my Stoeger 3020.
