Supposed to rain here tonight or early morning until about lunch then clear off. I'd about bet anything as soon as the rain quits and sun comes out could be deadly but would it be best to hunt open timber, a road or a food plot?

I would try to strike up a bird right after the rain with a good locator call...crow, boxcall...hard to say where the birds will be unless maybe your familiar with the property...but unless it was a typhoon sharp lighting, downpour you can't see across the street..i would be out in one of those spots well before first dawn

I think that turkeys like to mess around in open fields during or right after a light rain. Often they seem to go into the woods if the rain is much more than a drizzle.
