I've got tracks on both properties I hunt, and some years back saw one while turkey hunting...
They are the reason that I load my gun before walking out in the morning.
And, I have had enough bobcats sneak in on me (without me knowing) that especially for my morning set up, I put myself on a tree that a cat would have to come in front of me to get at me (i.e. no more setting up on fallen trees that a cat could come over the top and get me)...
Sitting in the dark and making turkey sounds with a big cat around kinda seems stupid when I really think about it. Never had an issue, and I do not really worry about it, but seeing multiple tracks 10 feet from my set up did make me a bit more aware of my surroundings last weekend.
