I have used Soundcloud to make soundfiles for a good while. But I can no longer get it to work. What are some other choices for making soundfiles to post on here? Thanks....

Does Youtube  work like Soundcloud? Do you record straight into the PC?

Yes you can record straight to your PC and then publish it to YouTube. I do it on my MacBook Pro.
