Alright, I have a 12 gauge benelli nova and I bought it new a few years ago with the max4 wrap or whatever already on it. I don't like the max4 one bit now that I have it. I don't duck hunt fields much and, mostly timber and when it comes to turkey season it just seems like the camouflage is way too bright.. So I'm wanting to paint it. I don't really wanna spend the money getting it dipped.. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this.. I kinda want a bottomland look to it. Just something to make it darker.

Put a couple base colors you'd like than use leaves as stencils n spray over the top holding leaves closely as you do so. The result is a 3D pattern in whatever color suits you

Clean with alcohol and I use Khaki base coat and then I used straw from a broom for the pattern.  Earth brown, OD green, fern and flat black.

Thanks, you should see it in the woods.  It just disappears
