Bass pro Red Head Blackout choke

Curious as well. I seen it for the first time today in Bass Pro. I am probably pretty set with my carlsons .575 but I always like trying out new goodies.

Well I bought one yesterday at the Branson Bass pro I was looking for a carlson .575 ,and the salesman there told me these were made by carlson's for bass pro .The only thing I'm worried about is it's a ported choke hope it doesn't mess me up with the federal wads.By the way it's .575 dia. so hoping it does well out of my gun .

I think it will be fine. Can you post up a picture of it on here with the ports?

My understanding is the ported chokes should not be used with the Feds but I have heard many say they ran the IC .555 with no issue. So at a .575 I wouldn't sweat it unless the ports are more than whats on the IC.
