Recommendation for a Universal Gun Cleaning Kit

Hey folks I haven't bought a new gun cleaning kit in awhile and mine is starting to get beat up pretty bad so I am in the market for a new one. I would like one that's pretty portable and universal as to clean everything from a .22 to a 12 gauge. Something similar to this one at Bass Pro:

Let me know what you guys use or recommend. Thanks

I own about 4 universals and a bunch of mixed matched. They all do the same thing. Only thing I would look for is I like wire brushes. I'm still confused how all of a sudden people think that wore brushes destroy barrels. I have a rifle that belonged to my grandfather and has only been cleared with wire brushes and has no issues. The nylons brushes and those weird metal loops brushes just don't work as well. Any of the kits will work. One reccomendation those is some bore snakes! They are great and do a lot of the barrel work with a few passes. They run about $20 a piece give or take. But wish.com had a whole set for $8. I'm going to order those myself. But as far as which kit I have some expensive ones and some from Walmart and both clean guns. An aerosol style solvent is also handy to order.

I was going to recommend the OTIS cleaning kit but the kit you're looking at appears to be based on the exact same method. The only thing you can't do with this type of system is scrub back and forth in the barrel. That can lead to longer cleanings. Having said that, it would be quicker to buy a bore guide and use a one piece coated rod. For portability purposes, what you're looking at will take care of the job and then some.

I'm a big fan of the Otis cleaning system.  Easy to pack and covers every gun I own.
