Poi question

I shot my sx3 this weekend with mag blend 5,6,7. Lb 4s,5s &6s. It's a 26" barrel, Indian creek .675 with only a front bead.  All 4 loads were 3.5" loads. My poi was dead on with the first shot with mag blends, 4s were to the left, 5s were fairly close and 6s were dead on. After the first mag blend I shot 4 more and they were all to the left about 2 inches to the center of the pattern. I shot two more 4s and they were left around 4 inches, 5s were left and 6s were dead center. I would really rather use the mag blends, I'm not crazy about shooting a number 6 really. I only counted the first mag blend shot and it had 204 in a 10" circle. Didn't count the 6s but it was a devastating pattern but maybe really too tight up close. Any suggestions?

There are so many variables which can impact your POI especially when utilizing only a front bead.  Before the advent of fiberoptic sights, I saw a measurable improvement by installing a small mid-bead on my turkey gun which eliminated much of my pattern lateral movement.  I would advise installing adjustable fiberoptic sights to maximize your sight picture, enable you to dial-in your patterns with a particular shot shell and assist you in getting on target much faster.  If your shotguns rib is 7/16 wide, PM me for information on low profile fiberoptic sights.

It's not easy sometimes....I was having problems with my poi being consistent. I assumed I was flinching occasionally which is easy to do shooting a shotgun like its a rifle. The recoil is pretty substantial. I used a Caldwell lead sled last weekend and really took my time on my sight picture and found my gun was shooting where it's supposed to.
If it's low and to the left or high and right every single time then sights might help.
