Dixie Deer Classic and Halloran Double Glass

Made it to the DDC today and ended up with a Halloran double glass, that thing is just plain nasty.  folks, don't overlook this call.  also got a few fred cox strikers and some other items.  thought i would share, enjoy your evening fellas, and ladies......

That double glass is next on my list! What striker did you like best on it?

The Double Glass is definitely the sleeper call in Halloran's stable of glass/crystal calls. I would recommend either Halloran purpleheart or yellowheart striker.

I ran a lot of his strikers, and the best sound to my ears was a 2-piece dymondwood; however, as you could choose a custom striker, I chose "ipe" and then paid $8 for the 2-piece.  PH and YH also sounded good

I use Lonzo one piece d-wood or a 2 piece d-wood on it any laminate sounds great I put a sound file of it in the sound file section and on YouTube david runs it with the crystal mistress
