Jelly head vs jelly head maximum

Has anyone tried both and seen a difference? I plan on shooting longbeard 5s this year and all I have is a jelly head 660. Don't know if that may be a lil too tight for 5s so I was thinking a 665 but I can't find an older 665 just the new maximums. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

  I have both, the new maximum and older .665. Not a lot of difference although I'd give the nod to the maximum. I have shot both with several different Remingtons with the most impressive pattern being from a 870 magnum turkey/waterfowl 3" #5 Longbeards . Also, the Winchester HV 3" fives do real well.

Both are made by Trulock.

I have shot both models in both 12 and 20 gauge in my 870s.  The maximums produced abysmal patterns where the originals shot fantastic.

Yea I had one of the older JH .660's for my beretta that I wish I hadn't sold. If would turn great patterns with Nitro shells and Hevi 13 3/2/6's. I'm searching for an old .660 now.

Might be able to help you with that.  Let me do some checking.  Might have one laying around.  Mobile choke right?
