Speed Bead for SX3 20.

Has anyone tried to fit a speed bead sx3 12 mount to a sx3 20? Just wondering if it could be modified to fit?

I have not tried that but from my experience the speed bead mount for the winchester is not a good system (unless something has changed).  You have to cut part of the stock to make it fit.  But the issue was the set screw.  To make the mount level the set screw was not tight enough and you could move the mount with your finger.  When the set screw was tightened down, it made the sight angle forward really bad.

The speed bead for the benelli uses dowel pins in the stock.  It's very secure.

Maybe I just had bad luck with mine on the winchester...

I had the speed bead on my SX3. Great concept, seemed awesome.

Until it wouldn't hold zero. Burris told me to piss off.

Fast fire worked, the mount sucked.  Just because of that tho I won't buy another Burris product.
