Ok so IVe narrowed my gun choices to the 500 and 535. The 500 comes with 24 in ported barrel and the 535 with a 22 in barrel and obviously shoots 3.5. There's only $20 difference in price. Can you guys help me decide, I'm stuck. Thanks.

I would opt for the 535 with the 22 inch barrel. I have handled that particular model and it seemed to balance really well.

i have a 535 myself and while i love the gun. i would suggest you get a better recoil pad  or put a aftermarket stock on it because they kick bad with the 3.5s. it will also have some pop with 3'' shells as well.
may god bless the ethical and responsible hunters and to everybody kill a big one.  jerry

835 would be my choice.  Overbored barrel =excellent patterns, any shell to 3.5's, plenty of chokes, won't break the bank.

The 835 is the best pick, but between the two I'd pick the 535.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
