Grabbed my seldom used BPS 10 out of the gun safe recently to get it ready for goose hunting and found the Duratouch MOBU cam stock and forend have deteriorated to the point I will likely have to wrap them in camo tape to use the gun. (became very soft and sticky) This gun is mostly a safe queen , have hunted turkeys with it twice and both time harvested a fine tom.
I've seen older threads on OG and other places abouth this so it's a very common problem.
My gun was bought new about 4 years ago but it was "New Old Stock" when I purchased it, I think it's a 2003 model with Mossy Oak Break Up Camo. I will call Browning but I have already read online they don't have any more MOBU stocks, so if they do replace they will be another version of Mossy Oak Camo, doesn't help the guns value to have mismatched stocks.
Will be my last Browning with Duratouch stock, that's for sure.
