VA Grouse Hunting???

Hey guys I hope all is well, I'm wanting to plan a grouse hunt in a few weeks and wondered if anyone here has any experience with the Clinch Mt. WMA or the Stewarts Creek WMA area??? I don't have a dog just wanting to put some boots on the ground and try to walk one up.

I have hunted grouse all over VA and can tell you that there ain't no better place than Stewart's Creek.  I think you would have great success there and should give it a try.  Just be sure to walk deep into the woods to find them.  If you have a bad day there, try Bull Mt.  I hear there is at least 3 grouse up there on top near the old plane crash.
