This striker is the result of a study on a carbon/rhotodendron kee striker.  It had a inconsistent high pitch and a decent yelp.  So I rebuilt it as a carbon/dymondwood.  It is a thin .232" diameter and is 8.75" long.  It is has a good high pitch, rollover, and plenty of rasp. Purrs well too.

Oh! and it took me just about as long to figure out how to post this on my phone as it did to make in my shop.

Very nice!  What surfaces does she like?

Plays on any surface.  I think a bubinga or ironwood tip would be perfect for glass

Nice looking striker, Matt

Are you building these for customers yet?

I'd like a bubinga tip, if you are....

I've turned blood wood  not as good as bubinga  on glass IMO .   But I'll give it a try for a tip
