New DKT-1 of 100 year old Oak

Hey folks, I've been in the shop doing some turning. Knocked out this trumpet of 100 year old oak, copper ferrule, Delrin mouth piece and bead on the lanyard... Thanks for giving it a look, Doug.

That turned out real well.  Oak is an underused wood in turkey calls in my opinion.  Has a great sound.

Im sure she sounds sweet. I wish i wasn't in the middle of a deer rifle build or I could definately find a place for her to rest til season opened back up. Very nice indeed!
