First off, I'm not trying to get anybody's secrets here or even any how-tos. I'm just trying to learn and know a little more. I hear and see talk and posts about glass over this and that and crystal over this and that and ceramic over this and that and so forth. Does that mean that there is two pieces of different material in the same wooden pot? I know that sound is vibration. Is it because one vibration transmits to the other material and gives the sound you're looking for?
Another question is, does the wood make a difference in sound or is it just for looks? I know that these are dumb questions so will someone please dumb this down for me.
Thanks
