I was thinking about buying a rhino choke tube .695 for my mossberg 835, and I was just wondering if any of you guys have one or what have you heard about them in the 835.

Tail Feathers

I have one.  I used it for the Nitro loads.  They got so expensive and hard to get that I moved to Hevi shot.
It patterns good with about any hevi load and dang near perfect with Nitro loads.
I now use a Carlson's .675 that I bought because it was on for a great price.  They pattern about the same with MagBlends but the Carlson's is about an inch shorter overall.
I'll sell it if you want a Rhino.  I mostly use a 20 gauge now anyway.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

There are several good chokes for the 835. You may find this to be helpful http://allaboutshooting.com/article_info.php?articles_id=759 for Hevi-13 or this one for Winchester Long Beard shells http://www.nwtf.org/hunt/article/choking-winchester%27s-long-beard-xr

Thanks,
Clark

I've never tried the rhino .695, but have shot a mad max in .695 with Nitro's 2 7/16 ounce load of straight 7's and Hevi -13's 7's along with Magblends. I found the results similar to the Jellyhead .690 and would venture to say the Rhino wouldn't vary much from those two chokes. Out of the half dozen chokes I've tried in both my 835 & 935 the very best performer was an Indian Creek  in .675. Found that kinda funny because Nitro recommended the more open chokes.

I shoot a Rhino .695 in my 835. I get fantastic patterns with both Nitro's and MagBlends.

I was wonting to shot the winchester longbeards '6 shot with the rhino choke tube, I'm a winchester guy when it comes to turkey loads. Have any of patterned the longbeards through the rhino choke tube.

Not sure about the Rhino as I have no experience but many get great results with the IC 675. I got a great hunting pattern with the Pure Gold .670 and Hevi 6s.
