Pattern question

What do you use for paper when patterning your gun?  I have just used  4'x4' squares of cardboard, but I'm tired of hauling 8-10 sheets of it with me when I want to try new loads and chokes. I was thinking of just using one piece of cardbaord to hold the paper, but don't know what to use for paper....looking for something about 2'x2'.

I use freezer paper from Walmart

I have a roll of 42" paper that I got from work. I know you can get partial rolls of paper from our local newspaper. Just something to ponder.

Partial news paper rolls they usually save them at your local newspaper and sell them for a couple dollars.

I use that brown paper, and it works great! Just build a frame with legs the same width of the paper, 36"x36" , then you just staple it on, and cut it off the roll. That way they can be rolled up and stored for future reference.

That's what I do...It's the paper that they use under hardwood floors. Some of it is pink...Great stuff. A roll will last FOREVER! AND it's pretty cheap...

I order 48" Kraft paper online and have it delivered. I built a frame from lightweight slotted angle and hold the paper on with paper clamps from an office supply store. Roll of paper lasts a long time. You can also get 36" rolls of carpenter's paper at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.

I have to admit that I have become a pattern junkie, I have tried many different loads, and then kept notes of the 10" pellet count. And I gota say that I'm impressed the most with Win. AA skeet loads, at 30yds they are awsome, I just wish I could get a gobbler inside 30yds!

Yep, here's what a Winch Sporting Clays load of 7.5s looks like at 30 yds. If you get him inside 35, he's going home in the truck.

Haha I didn't want to say anything but I shot some Federal 7.5 2 3/4" loads and the pattern is perfect out to 30. Maybe I should stick to these. $8 a box of 25 is much better than $20+ for 10
