I hunt tobacco land in southern Ontario Canada ,we have sand fields with gullys running for miles ,,tons of deer and turkeys ,any ways I got set up on the edge of a corn field on the edge of the gully and soon enough I have a tom going in behind me about 50 to 60 yards this is great as thy can be anywere long the gullys ,I put out a feeding bobble head hen and wait for a bite he just keeps gobbling his head off ,Soon I see six hens fly down about 150 yards away so I am between the tom and the hens ,great ,a few light calls and the hens are coming 4 of them come right in to the decoy and hang out for almost one full hour ,thy were carrying on like crazy chest bumping flapping there wings and just being hens mean while the tom just stays in his tree gobbling like crazy .one hen had a short beard but she got a pass as I was expecting the tom to come flying out of the bush any second ,but he never did he just stayed in his tree till about 730 ,finally the hens work off the field and the tom goes the other way ,like really .....it should have been perfect we have a ton of leaves on the trees so there is no way he seen me setting up in the dark ,it just does not figure ,,Dutch
