I am done/tag #2 unfilled

I tried but this year was extremely tough for me.  I am very thankful I got the bird I did.  I went out 2x last week.  I worked birds both times.  Unfortunately my last hunt had a gobbler who was still with a hen.  I tried to fire her up with no luck.

I do anticipate a good spring next year because so far we have favorable nesting conditions and what seems to be a low kill around here this season.   Time will tell.

Seems like a bad season was pretty common with a lot of hunters this year, myself included. At least you got one, and are looking forward to a good spring next year. Take care brother, and be safe!!!
