Not a productive morning :(

I stopped at 10 different spots and never heard a bird.  I drove around for 2 hours and didn't see a bird.  Maybe it is the 8" of snow or the 2 degree temp but they were not moving this morning at all.  I hope it picks up for next weekends hunt.

That's a good sign to me. Every year I have a great opener on the first day, it seems like the season bluntly put, sucks.

This season, on the first day I heard, and saw, NOTHING. The next several days have been very productive.    Just saying. Keep your gun ready, and make the most of the time spent in the woods. It only takes a few more minutes for things to change!!
