Ironic you brought this up, as my first shot ever of a 3 1/2" LB broke the 4" wishbone ejector spring in my 18 year old 11/87 Turkey gun today. Just my luck that the NH season opens tomorrow, but I'm taking my son out with his 20 ga 870 anyways. The gunsmith took it apart and had no clue why it broke, will be at least a week till fixed. I'd shot Hevi 13 3 1/2", 6's since they came out and generally get 160-180 shots in 10"@40. Must say those Longbeards blew me away with 255 hits in 10"@40, best target ever, they just break my old gun! Don't know if they'll cycle as the they are 1/8" longer than the Hevi 13 I always use. Had a trip to Ct last week and never got around to testing the Longbeards, thankfully. Wound up killing a couple and the gun cycled and ejected just fine with the H13. Before I leave my gunsmith after picking my gun up, I plan on shooting a Longbeard at his range just to see if it will break again, if so I'll post it up.
