Turn around time and questions about Nitros

With the inconsistencies from Hevi13 from year to year (had to change loads every other year since i started shooting them) Ive decided that I might just as well pay the money and get nitros once the rest of my hevi 13's run out this year.

I believe Ive got enough shells to get me threw the season but would like to get some nitros by seasons end. I understand they tend to back up so Im wondering if this is even possible.

My second question is what Chokes for a 21" barreled 870?  Ive got PG 670(my favorite for mag blends currently), an IC 665 and a 660 Jellyhead.    I'd prefer not to have to shoot a handful of combos at the cost per shell of the nitros to find the right combo and would love some suggestions on which choke is likely to give me the best pattern off the bat.    Is the 670 likely to be a little to open for the Nitros?

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help on that.

I know alot of guys on here used to shoot the Nitros and before this site went down, there was a ton of information and patterns posted.

My wife shoots a Rhino .660 in her 870 3" 21" barrel using the H13 #7 and will put between 250-270 in a 10" circle @40yds.When she's not hunting with this gun it's on my shoulder instead of my mossberg.

Of the three chokes you have... If you get Nitro straight 7's, try the JH .660... If you get 4x5x7 nitros, I'd go with the PG .670... Choke exit diameter is only a portion of the pattern equation... The IC .665 does well, but better with straight 7's than the triplex nitros in my 870...Just because the IC has a tighter ED doesn't mean it will provide tighter or more even patterns.

I ordered some Nitro's a little over a couple of weeks ago and received them in 2 weeks time.  I completed the order blank with my credit card info included, scanned t and emailed to Nitro.  I kept in constant touch with Letha at Nitro by email.  She was very helpful.
