Crystal Mistress arrived today, WOW!

Well I finally got off my wallet and ordered one. Should have done it a couple of years ago, man this thing is nice.

Have been running store bought until a couple years ago and now am building up a proper handmade pot call selection. It has good feel in the hand, both shape and you can feel it talking and popping. I could tell on the first stoke it was going to kick someone out of the vest. Plays easy and precise. If you're on the fence for a while like I was thinking it's just a fan favorite, it's not, it's the real deal.

I, like you am trying to build up a more custom made call collection.  Halloran Twisted Sister was one of my first purchases and I love it so have put the Mistress on the back burner.  May have to start thinking about it again.  Soo many good call makers, I'm going to end up with more calls than I could possibly need but that's part of the fun

The T.S. will have to be next year. I really like the sound of it though from the clips I've heard, just don't want to get too many new ones at once. The ones I do get will have a fair shake in the woods vs. some longbeards to see how they really do in the field.

I have a couple calls that most guys would throw away but with the way I play them I can get really tough birds to break and come in when nothing else works. More than likely this will put my early 2000's power crystal into the stuff that I don't use anymore drawer.

I run both the TS and the CM they are different enough to make it worthwhile to carry both however they only run back up to Lonnies Outlaw and Hot Hen at the moment. The TS did just break a bird yesterday that  the others couldn't pull.

The mistress is my favorite call I have I will never get rid of it I like the double glass and cacklin and the sister I have a metal mouth on the way

I also just bought a crystal mistress this year. I should've bought one years ago, but I spent my money on another call I don't even have anymore.

I bought a twisted sister but I sold it to buy the mistress. I also have his metal mouth crystal, but the mistress still wins.
