You can't go wrong with a Hot Hen slate. His current price:

$30 for the call & 2 piece Purple Heart striker
$10 for a custom cover (nice addition to the whole package)
$5-$8 shipping (depending on how many you order)

Talking to Lonnie... PRICELESS!!

Delivery depends on how many orders he is working on... 1-3 weeks??

Big Guy

I didn't get the cover and it ran me $35.90.  You might be cutting it close on the date, although I'm sure he'll do his best to get it to you in time.

:newmascot: I just talked to Lonnie.  You guys are right he is a great guy.  I ordered the hot hen and the outlaw hen glass pot call.  Can't wait to get them.  :turkey2:

His last order form sent with calls, now has shipping costs I believe? Where before it was free shipping on 30.00 or more. And he is no longer making The Raspy Boss Hen and Terminator Aluminum, as they were crossed off the form.

Ordered my outlaw hen last week..Lonnie said he had to start charging shipping of $5.95 on calls...can't blame him after shipping he was only getting $25...those calls are well worth the $35 without cover...Great guy...Great calls!

Buzzkiller

I just ordered the outlaw hen and hot hen this morning. It was my first time to talk with him and we talked for over a hour. I can tell he is a good man and this world sure could use more just like him.

lonnie sneed jr.

He is working on them everyday except Easter Sunday. He is working about 14-16 hr. a day. He is trying to keep up with orders, and is not even scouting with me so far, but he does not need to. I am going out about every morning. I will tell him where I have been hearing them, or seeing them. He will be with me in about 2 weeks hunting in Ohio, and then back to WV to hunt, so he is working all he can on orders. Thanks for using dads calls, Good luck to all.

Lonnie Jr., he was bragging on your turkey skills the other day, so cool that you guys still get to hunt together.

I talked to him the other day and ordered a couple, really looking forward to getting his tree talker pocket slate. Man did it sound good. I kill 80% of my birds with purrs and clucks and that call is ultra realistic.

Ques for Lonnie sneed jr.  What does your dad recommend for maintaining  the hot hen slate and outlaw hen glass.. I've heard sand paper for glasd and scotch brite pad for the slate.  Thanks I have both ordered and just thought I would get the best recommendation from you and your dad.  Thanks again

Talked to Lonnie yesterday and he is covered up with orders!

I order mine three weeks ago just to give you a time frame, but I am sure as season gest closer and travel starts, that may in fact be a sliding window
