Choke testing.... #4 lb 3 1/2

This Saturday after our youth day we will be testing Kicks ..665, indian creek .665, and a primos jellyhead .660... Hopefully they will perform as good in my dads sbe ii as the 3" did in my 870. I will post the numbers upon completion. Once again we are using the 4's simply to be able to kill both gobblers and coyotes as a compromise. The only problem was how tight the pattern was for me... 16" at 40 not much room for error in the 870...

Yeah I agree. I am having the kid use 3" magnum blends I got 161 with them in a tight wad and 137 with a jellyhead and it was a little more forgiving pattern around the holy grail we call a 10" circle so we shall see. With me next to him hopefully I can talk him through making a good a good clean kill by squeezing and not pulling/jerking the trigger. We will be hunting out of a blind which to me is almost cheating for turkeys. I get a much bigger rush sitting at the base of a tree knowing he can see my every move as he sneaks in !!! But with a kid they need more room for error which the blind gives.
