This turkey had every other turkey intimidated , he liked to walk, and he liked to gobble.set up on a turkey 1/4 mile away he's coming and the other gobbler goes the other way when he gets close.set up by the road he loves to walk and he gobbles through the middle of the woods. Call one time and he will come couple of hundred yards and gobble at you one hour later, couldn't get it done, don't have any buddies that would sit long enough to attempt a call through. The last two days of the season spent hunting somewhere else .what would you have tried.

Hard to say? Maybe a caller and a shooter? Caller gets behind shooter once bird is located, and moves directly away calling trying to pull bird to shooter. By yourself it's a little harder depending on terrain to move undetected. Again, once located, call going away from him a good ways and throw in a gobble at the end, then sneak back and remain silient, no calling at all here. Leaves him with the impression the hen made off with another gobbler.

Tried gobbling, hale fire, another time with promos. I'm pretty good with the hale fire, just shut him up,never showed up.

:funnyturkey: The Primos double gobbler works for us, not every time, but is in my vest. It will work on a Boss bird and a bunch of jakes. Single jakes stay away and sub dominant toms hang back. We use the hunter caller routine also, this has been effective also. Nothing is 100%, but not doing anything or doing the same thing that did not work the first time, probably won't work either.  :z-twocents: Good luck
