Question about original Win X-tended Range
April 01, 2015, 06:29:17 AM
I have a question. What type of shot does the original
winchester x-tended range have? How is it compared to hevi-shot and fed HW? (6's)

Winchester Supreme Elite Extended Range High Density (no-lead). Great shell, but Winchester discontinued it.

I'm asking about the original extended range, not the elite. I'm wondering what kind of shot is in them. It just says heavier than lead on the box. I have a couple of boxes of them.

It is a tungsten based shot, 12g, so same density and original hevi shot, fantastic rounds!

It's the same density as Hevishot, but it's a slightly different alloy...I think it uses tin. I heard it was a little softer, but I can't confirm that.
